About Sara

Yoga Instructor, Meditation Guide, Nature Enthusiast

Through my 23 years of experience teaching yoga, I have distilled my practice and teaching down to simple asanas (postures) that nurture healthy movement and cultivate awareness. I offer a safe and systematic approach to yoga asanas that focuses on alignment, and I am able to adapt the practice to suit individual needs.

 

Yoga is a practice for going inward, allowing us to shift from a state of habitually doing to one of simply being. In a world with endless distractions, I am delighted to be able to offer this practice in an immersive and supportive setting, to help students settle in to the practice and connect with a deeper state of being.

 

I am a certified teacher of the Iyengar® Yoga tradition and a certified Relax and Renew® Level 1 Trainer (Judith Hanson Lasater). I am also a Vajrayana Buddhist practitioner, and student of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.
